This study assesses the effect of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on the institutions and actors who have the responsibility and the ability to advance child rights. The study is based upon six individual country studies as well as overview of UNICEF and the Save the Children Alliance. It contributes to an understanding of how the CRC has affected local, national and international institutions.
