| Summary, etc | The project aims to reduce the number of children involved in damaging and exploitative forms of child work in Maharashtra Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.<br/>This project proposal by Save the Children-Canada aimed to diminish the involvement of children in damaging and exploitative forms of child labour in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. The overarching goal was the elimination of such harmful practises and the provision of developmental opportunities. The specific objectives encompassed educational and vocational training, rehabilitative support, awareness and advocacy, income generation, and program development. The proposed approach involved a multi-pronged strategy to create opportunities for children to participate in both non-formal and formal educational endeavors, vocational training, and income generation activities. |
