This is a report of a survey done by Vigil groups, India has the dubious distinction of being the worlds largest employer of child labor, the problem here is explained with respect to the historical context, how a whole series of Industries were created to meet the childrens needs such as clothes and toys. The study had the objective of assessing the magnitude of the problem in Kanya Kumari (Tamil Nadu) and the team of experts analyzed the data collected and prepared this report to help policy makers and activists do in depth research on child labor cases.
