Childrens report on the status of the UNCRC in Maharashtra 2004 - 2009 - New Delhi Campaign against child labour 2009 - 24p. 23*18 cm

The "Children's Alternative Report" initiative, spearheaded by organizations like Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL) and Campaign Against Child Trafficking (CACT), facilitated children in Maharashtra to document their experiences regarding their rights. This report aims to provide solid data and key findings about children’s rights under four areas, right to survival, development, protection and participation. From 2008 to 2009, children from various regions engaged in discussions, spot studies, and debates to understand and report on issues such as education and healthcare. Facilitators aided in compiling their findings into the "Children's Report on the Status of the UNCRC in Maharashtra." This collaborative effort involved organizations like ARC and received support from multiple entities, emphasizing the importance of children's voices in assessing the realization of their rights.
